Basement Book Sale at McGraw

Because of an an overabundance of donations, the Helen McGraw Branch will be having a special one day only Basement Book Sale. Come and see what treasures you can find Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Find books from your favorite authors like Stephen King, Danielle Steel, Patricia Cornwell, Tom Clancy and more for these low prices:

All hardcovers will cost $1.00
All paperbacks will cost $0.50
All magazines will cost $0.25
No children’s items will be available

Get Your Game On

Two new video game consoles, the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii (which USA Today compares here, will be released this weekend to long lines and happy gamers. While the library will not be carrying games for these systems, both branches do have a growing collection of PlayStation 2 titles. So if you’re unable to get your hands on a PS3 or a Wii, check out these popular PS2 games at the library.

    The library website now includes a directory of Useful Links that features dozens of links to other websites in four categories: People (Phone Numbers and Postal Information), Genealogy, Reference and Rochester Jobs.
